Re: destiny& bro at eddie's carnival
Eddie hated himself a little for thinking that she was pretty because that wasn't appropriate at all. She had a sweetness to her, something that he always fancied and that seemed like a good excuse. He smiled at the siblings, seemingly a little off guard and a bit charmed, before he easily maneuvered back into the carnival king. It was a lot like being around a stage performer caught for an interview or a meet and greet after the show. It was mostly to keep a reputation and maintain a level of respect around the carnival. His carnies expected him to be the fearless leader, after all.
When she thanked him he shook his head. "Sincerely, it's my pleasure." He said softly and then smiled brightly at Wyatt. The boy didn't seem shy or skittish, which was good in a carnival atmosphere. "Animals, you say? Well, young man I think that's a fantastic idea." Eddie nodded and then hopped off the last step of his trailer, putting on a pair of glasses that glowed violet. Something beeped and Eddie made a soft mhm noise.
"Well, it looks like my panda is ready to go. Have you ever met a panda before?" Eddie spoke to Wyatt like a small adult, like he was some kind of credible expert on animals. He glanced up at Destiny and thought to tell her that none of the animals were real at his carnival, but he wanted to see if she could guess. He was hoping the panda (which was a lazy creature by nature) could fool just about anyone.
He lead them past a few tents towards a small, grassy clearing. Eddie's violet glasses glowed, numbers and lines of code playing backwards across the lenses. Eddie seemed to pause for a moment, like he was loading a save file and then he stretched his arm out in front of him.
"The panda's name is Ai." Pronounced eye and a very clever name indeed. In a matter of moments, a large, black and white panda shambled out of one of the tents and made his way to the grass clearing. It sat on its fat haunches, looking like an especially dumb and very cute large stuffed animal. There weren't any clues that it was actually a robot under all of that fluffy fur and Eddie had the slowness of a real panda to thank for that.
"He's friendly if you'd like to go play with him." Eddie offered and took his glasses off to quickly wink at Destiny. The panda turned to look at them, waved and then rolled on its back like a teeter totter.
