Misha seemed to be taking to the idea, which was really the only conceivable outcome Oliver had thought through thus far. If Misha had said no, it would have been back to zero, but Misha didn't say no. Misha seemed to follow after the idea like it was adventure, or maybe just a good idea... which Oliver thought it was too, so that made sense.
"Lovers? What? No," And this part came quickly. Oliver seemed almost frozen , petrified for a moment, his mouth struggled to work out another word that wasn't just no, and it finally did. "He wouldn't believe that. He knows I don't..." And this wasn't nerves when Oliver looked at Misha again, just a little more pointed. "You can't do that. Not only wouldn't he believe you, but I don't think he would trust you."
Oliver stiffened visibly as Misha grew more agreeable. His eyebrows went up a little at the mention of kissing, although Oliver found that significantly less terrifying than the idea of masquerading as lovers. Kissing he could do.
