Re: Eddie's House: May / Eddie
"I know you go to the carnival and enjoy yourself. For that, I'm honored. But, a simple magic trick wouldn't delight you. Would it?" Eddie rolled his hand in the air, reached behind her ear and pulled out a small, wild daisy. He handed it to her, waiting for a reaction, though clearly not convinced that she'd think it was anything impressive. "I can do a lot of amazing things at the carnival. Things you won't see anywhere else, but I don't think any of it would make you light up like this-" He motioned around them and down at the earth. "Like She does."
He smiled at her, fingers pressing on his mouth as she teased him. "Did you think, perhaps, I'm interested in what you'd say?" May watched him and he looked right back at her before reaching for his tea and taking a sip. "You aren't used to being asked questions, are you? Not personal ones. Repose doesn't want to know and perhaps in reality most days you live a very ordinary life. I like ordinary. Ordinary thrills me. That's a secret between you and me."
