Reaper figured he was supposed to be spending this time analyzing how the situation would be different without her luck. Was it was depleting over time or getting stronger as the situation called for it. Honestly, he didn't have a fucking clue and thinking didn't come into the game plan very often. He followed his instincts, the rhythm of a fight and maybe that was why they worked so good together.
"What the fuck?" Reaper asked, and looked up at the floating crystal coffin. The monster smashed and Reaper jumped and swerved out of reach while trying to get a read on that fucking floaty thing. It began pulsing and the scientist's fingers glowed within the case, moving like a puppeteer. Then what was the-

The crystal monster slammed his arm into the wall Reaper was sticking to and the house groaned in protest, the roof steadily collapsing in. "You distract the big guy!" Reaper yelled and pointed to the monster before dodging a falling mirror ceiling panel and leaping towards the floating scientist.
