Re: log: flash/felicity mission
Flash wasn't going to say, because girls fucking hated it when you acted like they needed saving- but he wouldn't let anything bad happen to Felicity. Even if she was the type of chick who cried over a broken nail, he wouldn't let shit happen to her. That said, it wasn't something he was dying to prove to her because he figured goblin blood was going to be hard to wash off.
She cracked a joke and grinned. He chuckled at her smile and it sounded like metal churning in a dishwasher.
"I like that plan." Reaper said and nodded. He wanted to see what her powers could do, what the reach was. But, that implied a level of experimentation which would lead to danger. And yes, he heard that whole sentence in Gwen's voice in his head. He almost felt like he should write her a detailed essay of shit that happened on the mission, to see if she could figure anything out about Felicity's abilities.
He was about to suggest they'd head out when the door to the bathroom suddenly opened. Reaper grabbed Felicity by the wrists and pulled her into him, surrounding her with his cape. He fell back into the graffiti covered green wall behind them and wobbled into his shadow form, taking Felicity with him. She wouldn't see anything except darkness and any noise the goblin was making in the bathroom was muffled as if she were a few feet under water. If she tried to scream, that wouldn't come out, either. They weren't anything except a shadow on the wall.
Seconds passed as the goblin checked the room and then in a huff, left to go back to work. Reaper phased out of the wall and let Felicity go, only holding her shoulder in case she had a hard time finding her footing. "Sorry. I meant to warn you about that." Reaper said and then: "We got to get moving."
