Re: [In-person: PJ and Atticus and Matt]
I want to know I can be on my own and dictate my own life, but I'm afraid they were right and I shouldn't be. And it doesn't feel safe on my own, or right. [She wasn't entirely sure why it seemed like the scruffy - definitely not just a vet but probably not a serial killer - shack guy was understanding every word that came out of her mouth so well that the few he was putting back into the conversation resonated so well with her.] Will you stay until I change back? [She fought the urge to add on all of the 'its okay if nots' and the like.]
[She noticed Atticus coming back up the walk then. He smelled differently. And when he stepped into the barn she noticed why. And yes, she was about to start...She was so about to start. But she stopped starting when he told her not to.] I'm going to start later.
[Then he started. But mostly toward Matt, and her eyebrows raised as he went through his little list of questions and concerns. She heard him talking under his breath, the air change, her enhanced senses - she was worried about him - despite him telling her she couldn't hurt him. She was less worried about that. She was just worried full stop. But she didn't start. As requested.
