Re: Arcade: Gwen & Perry
Seeing him move around like that, in person, was totally different than her acquired memories led her to believe. Like Reaper, she'd refrained from looking him up, because she knew the League totally monitored her entire life, and she was maybe overly paranoid about leading them to become interested in other people. She tipped her head back against the wall, and her copper hair caught on neon swirls of dried paint. It was impressive, the way integrated DNA could give someone the ability to do stuff the human body couldn't do. It made her wonder, in that wide-eyed way, if the potential always existed in the human genome, and was just dormant, or if the integrated DNA made things possible.
"I can't block it. I would need to replicate it, but it would need to be super seamless, and I can't really be sure that the chip I'm aware of is the only means of tracking me. They've done a lot of tests that I haven't been awake for." She tapped her feet a little quicker against the carpet.
"Flash knows about the situation, but Flash really hates Jason, and they kind of can't have a conversation. It's not new. It's been like that since MJ and Jason hooked up. You weren't around, but it was super messy, and they've been anti-each-other ever since. Jason's new plan involves me trying to find blackmail material while I'm at my lab sessions." Not a great plan, which she was totally aware of.
She didn't know Aunt May caused the sobering in his gaze, but she had an inherent understanding of him, and she stared a few minutes and tried to figure out what could cause the change in demeanor. She sat forward while she thought, and she let her legs fall criss-cross. Her head tipped to the side, and she looked at him (as well as she could in the low-light). "There are a lot of us here that care about Aunt May, Perry. We can totally help." But, right, viruses. "You couldn't fight a virus, but you could definitely help limit the spread. The less damage they can do, the better, right?"
