The bright voice was a bit of a surprise, but he tracked the source of it to one of the aisles and the woman crouched there holding a box of... pasta? It looked like pasta from where he stood, red jars on the shelf not too far from her. Her greeting was less the obligatory hello of a part time employee and more the tone of someone more invested in the place, and his brain quickly categorized her as manager. Or owner.
