Re: [B&B: Nimue and Connie]
[Nimue was also clueless about negatively impacting timelines. She was just one small girl, and the places she went were entirely chosen for historical interest. She read old books, gothic novels and classics, and she liked finding images taken during the time those novels were set. She visited for a hedonistic kind of pleasure, experience for the sake of itself. A young girl hiding from harsh reality that bubbled green, and there was little more to it than that.
She expected nothing to burn to a crisp. Though, being an Algol, the entire concept of the world burning was one she'd been raised upon. Grandfather thought it quite elegant, purification through fire.]
Parents kill their offspring with regularity. [The words were emotionless. There was no sympathy offered with them, because it was merely a reality. Nimue had broken her teeth on such realities.] Are you considered insufficient, or would your death serve a greater purpose? [Which was also asked plainly, with the same weight as asking someone to pass the salt. But, then, the girl filled in the blanks, and Nimue once again regarded the troubled looking man.] Perhaps he left deliberately. Have you considered he might not wish to be returned? Also, I think it's rather awful, you being skeletal.
