The dog looked content enough, pink tongue, attentive, ears up. It also looked big, and the wet teeth were very large. Hunter glanced back at the dog, and saw a friend, or a little sister. "She'll come if I let her. She's trained up, don't need to worry about that."
Hunter set his shoulder against all that padding and got it into the washer. He went up to the coin detergent machine and took a handful of quarters out of his pocket, feeding them in and working the crank, which stuck. Embarrassed, Hunter shook the machine enough to make it rattle. "It's stuck."
