Is there some sort of bartender's oath? Similar to the Hippocratic, or a vow of secrecy or something? Not for myself, I'd far prefer to observe the vagaries of bartending as if it were some sort of vocational enterprise best suited to people who listen and say the right thing a lot, but because I've got to hire a round of new staff as the old lot exodus and I'd like to know if we should establish basic principles here.

The skating, on the other hand, I don't think there's an oath for that.
