Re: quicklog: babs/gwen
I love those movies. [Babs grinned.] One day I'm going to talk Damian into letting me throw a "Totally 80's" party at the manor and it's going to be so cool. [So maybe talking about malls when she was looking for signs this girl might have been hurt wasn't super cool, but it was the way pretty much everyone in her family worked. Act like nothing could get to them as a protection from all the bad things that happened back home.
Like dead bodies.
Babs had seen her share of dead bodies. The first being one that had been floating in the harbor for days and she had to fish him out to identify. She'd never forget the waterlogged eyes, the rubber blue skin. The smell of salt and death that lingered on her Shadow Girl uniform for days. There were countless others after that, but it never got easy. Especially when it was a girl around her age.
The good news? There weren't any misplaced knives, no signs of serious drug use or a struggle. She combed the living room, finding not much there, either.] You're fun to talk about boys with! [Babs shouted back with a laugh.] Hey, that reminds me. Have you seen Jason yet? Like face to face? [She went through the couch cushions, finding nothing.]
