Re: Trailer Park: Brett T & Cris M
"Not even close." The trailer park was hardly a leafy suburb with tree lined streets and happy families, two point four children and picnics on the weekend. Most folks around here had some kind of problem or another. "But it's early enough that the old lady three doors down might not have drunk herself into a stupor yet. She doesn't take kindly to noise." She also didn't take kindly to Brett - it wasn't a surprise that the cops had shown up at his door. "Maybe it'd been someone else. Hell - maybe it was someone knowing there's a new Sheriff in town and wanting to test your reactions. You can never tell." There as a warning under that, if the man cared to look for it. Not explicit - but to be more clear, Brett might run the risk of an accusation that he cared. Still, it was there - watch your back. You never know who you're dealing with, or what their agenda is.
