Re: Outside the Roadhouse: Gwen & Sheriff Martin.
She watched the little boxing gloves for a few seconds, and she crinkled the granola bar's metal-y wrapper between her fingers. She had her hoodie, which was worn, but decently fleeced inside. She was comfortable inside the car, even with the bumping and uneven terrain. She didn't consider asking for a coat, and she wasn't certain what he was looking for in the backseat.
"I find Oliver very pleasant to interact with," she said truthfully. She didn't comprehend that Oliver's social skills were as lacking as her own, because she didn't have a good feel for acceptable social skills yet. She only knew she found Jude scary. He demanded things, and Gwen didn't do super well with people who demanded information from her. "I think Jude's trying to help, but I don't want anyone tracking me with GPS devices."
She folded her hands politely in her lap. "Her boyfriend. The one she had when she died. Jason says I only sound like her a little, so maybe Peter won't know it's me. I dyed my hair," she added, pushing the hoodie off, and honestly believing the sheriff hadn't noticed that particular detail without her shedding light on it.
