Re: Outside the Roadhouse: Gwen & Sheriff Martin.
Gwen visually confirmed that it was Sheriff Martin in the car. She'd only seen him once, but she recognized him. She wouldn't have moved from her hiding place otherwise, and she was unaware that it kind of totally failed as a good hiding place at all. But it was him, and she ran to the car like she was being chased, and she climbed in and huddled in the seat. She tugged her hoodie down further, so the grey sides rested against pale cheeks, and she looked over at him with a wary cornflower gaze.
But, youth prevailing, she wiggled her toes in the worn sneakers she wore, and she put her hands in front of the car's air vents, hoping warmth would blast her cold fingertips. "Thanks for coming, sir. I know this is totally inconvenient, but I just found out my guard at the League knew where I was, so I kind of had to move really super fast." She wasn't going to sell Jason out, but she figured the particulars wouldn't indicate who she was currently uncertain about. Not that she thought Jason was going to turn her in, because he could've done it tons of times over the past weeks, but she hadn't been so sure when she left Oliver and Jude.
