Outside the Roadhouse: Gwen & Sheriff Martin.
She was nervous about meeting anyone, and Jason's confession that he was the Hood was still at the forefront of her mind. She'd misjudged, and she realized that she didn't have all the pieces to make the most informed decisions, but she'd totally misjudged. Jason, as far as she knew from her accessible information, had been against the League and the things they stood for. It had never occurred to her that he might be working for them, but she'd been wrong, and it was a lesson learned and a newfound paranoia.
That paranoia found her peering around the corner of the Roadhouse, still wearing the much-washed scrubs and hoodie she'd escaped the facility in. The fabric was worn and thin, and the girl wearing it was pale and wan. Her hair was dyed a copper that had faded from a much more brilliant red, and she had the hoodie up over her hair, because people on television always tugged their hoodies up when they were hiding from someone.
