The question Helena asked made sense. Cat tried to put herself in Helena's shoes. She tried to imagine a life where she didn't know her own name, where she didn't remember anything, and she was grateful her memories were missing pieces, and not completely absent.
She wondered how it happened, though that was something she'd been trying not to focus on while Helena was standing there. Oh, it was important, and Cat was a little too enamored with revenge not to be considering just that. Because this? Wasn't normal. And the possibility existed that Helena had bumped her head, and that this had occurred naturally. But she doubted it.
