Eames/Rey/Atticus/Manning: the B&B
It was all happening both very fast and very slowly: Manning's words and Atticus', and then Rey herself fell into a memory: one of the Orkneys from the smell of the spray and the feel of the breeze on her slight frame, walking the beach, choosing rocks.
Then: making a circle, sitting on the ground, damp sand on her skin, in the crevices of her clothing. Ignoring it, feeling the life around her, the rhythm of wind and wave, the birds in the sky, the creatures in the water, crabs and fish and everything else. Luke, bright with power and life, close by, long before his illness, instructing her on how to feel the Force.
Closing her eyes, sensing it all with those other senses, the cycles and power, and then, opening her eyes, finding herself afloat, several feet off the ground. Luke's face crinkled into a smile as she noticed the rocks floating around her.
Luke's voice: "Next time we'll add more."
... and she was sitting on the floor of the room in the B&B again, wondering whether the genius loci of Repose had spread her memories to the others in the room.
