Outside, with the sun shining, Mari held her hand out for Kit's piece of the clock, which was the only one she did not have. She had no fear of assembling the clock; she believed that they were here for a reason, and she was most willing to wait to see what this was. This was how it always was for Mari.
She did not worry about the clock's lack of moving pieces, because she did not believe things were always scientific or logical. The world was too chaotic for this, and she simply found a shady spot, one beneath a tree, and she sat on the grass with these pieces spread out before her.
One by one, she assembled this reloj tinto. "¡Anda! muéstranos."
