Her statement got a snort of a laugh, a burst of air between his lips and he shrugged. "It's been hot and muggy," was his only real response to this. "And Batman's full ensemble feels like too much for tonight."
He did look over at the drinks and after picking out one of the bottles he turned back to her. He'd seen her around, because you did see people around in Repose. It was hard to be completely hidden from view in a town this small, and if you owned a shop on main street, well, then you knew each other. And he didn't really own said shop, but he'd been working there regularly, so it was the same general thing.
"So... are you just interested in ghosts and things or have you actually seen them?" Repose was weird. There was no getting around that, and Ren wouldn't put anything past someone who lived in this town for any length of time.
