The wolf quickly decided that this woman was going to be very easy to read, with the exception of that something they couldn't identify. She seemed to wear not only her heart on her sleeve but her personality as well, and the wolf couldn't pick up any kind of deception or anxiety or anything else that would hint at the fact that she was putting on some sort of front. Even with the unannounced hug that was enough to make the wolf settle down to the point where it was keeping only the bare minimum of its focus on her. Even when she gave Rafe's beard that small tug it didn't do anything more than flick its tail and twitch its ear with a huff.
Rafe, on the other hand, gave a smile that carried only the slightest trace of surprise before he laughed again, tilting his head in acknowledgement. He followed her gesture and saw the name, his name (at least in part), written in that bright colour, bringing his attention back down to her as she asked those questions. The choice was actually easy for him, and his facial hair didn't factor into the equation at all. "Cone." Because you couldn't eat a cup. Obviously.
With Oona back behind the counter Rafe stepped up to the front of it all the way, crossing his arms loosely on the counter and leaning his weight forward in more of a relaxed posture. There was no one behind him for the time being so he wasn't holding anyone else up, and he would hear the bell over the door ring if someone did come in. There were a few other people in the establishment already, working on various ice creams and milkshakes and a few things Rafe couldn't even identify at a glance. What he could tell from his place at the counter, however, was that they were enjoying whatever they were working on. "You're nervous?" he returned, his brows lifting, amusement playing over his face. "And you seemed so confident on the forums. I'm not that intimidating, surely."
