Re: The Neighbourhood: Billy/Alex
That he knows? Well, okay, Alex was not supremely logical by any means, but it does seem, well, logical, what with the fair skin and hair and all that, and maybe just the fact that he's always cold. If he would've been pressed, he'd say that Billy was a summer, kind of for the opposite reasons. So, to say, not really good ones at all. Still, kind of pleased at guessing right, like he thinks anyone might be. "Oh," he says, still chewing at his pizza, and remembers to swallow before adding. "Okay, got it right then," and he's still got the smirk because he's silly enough to believe he won't leave the house all made up.
"Split the diff at like three?" Alex suggests, and he chuckles, finishes the slice of pizza and washes it down with whatever fruity kind of beer he'd found in the fridge. Something kind of berry something or another, it's not bad. He can't do the regular beer thing, it's all too bitter, but this is fine. He does keep himself from saying the kinds of teasing things he might have if Tandy was still around, but refrains, again out of respect, but also because that's the kind of thing that opens him up for teasing about his own tortured crushiness and what have you.
He looks back over at the words, and wonders what Billy is going on about, but then sees the outstretched arms and realizes belatedly that he wants to...cuddle? His lips twitch a couple times, because it's like his brain isn't processing the information right away. Again, blame a touch-starved life. He gets it, finally, he's all for it, it just takes him a moment. "Sure," he says with an awkward little smile; he's got a piece of pizza in him so he's not like grumbly-stomach-starving anymore. More can wait. He scoots across the distance between them and leans - again awkwardly - his body in toward Billy's.
