Re: The Neighbourhood: Billy/Alex
Billy knows that he’s a selfish asshole, and he feels it deeply, thinking about how Alex has picked up his slack. He knows, yeah, that the entire point of the guy getting him the job had to do with the benefits of your employer not knowing the fucking dirty details of your life. But at the same time, the clueless guy who runs the comic shop is a hell of a lot better than Holly giving him attitude for what felt like just existing, right?
He grins at the expression on Alex’s face, his arms coming open and gesturing for a hug that he wants, enveloping the guy if he accepts the gesture. Billy’s a tactile person. He’s big on hugs, and physical contact, point-blank-period. He takes a bite of the pizza slice even while his arm is wound around the back of the guy’s neck.
“Have we ever talked about the fact that we’re basically the same person?” He quips, standing back on one foot so that his hip is cocked out. “Like, exact same height, pretty sure we’re even the same weight. We’re kinda soul twins, dude.”
He’s equally happy to see Alex, and realizes that he’s happy to see the guy to the point where he doesn’t care about the linger of cigarette smoke that curls against his nostrils. “Oh my god, you’re serving me Madonna realness and I love it. Should we watch ‘Strike A Pose’??” He’s ready for it, even as he nudges Alex towards the kitchen island where the pizza boxes are stacked. “I love you, dude, please eat your weight in pizza.”
