Re: Kit & Tory: Area 52
A bit of dirt didn't bother Kit. His own hands were scrupulously clean, with the half-moons of his nails clear and pink from effort. There was, more often than not, dirt under them. He glanced once more in the direction of the pot plants that looked less than lustrous, and his weight stayed over his heels despite Tory taking Kit's hand rather literally with him. "Thank you."
He would not have known who Vanna White was. Kit liked seeing people for who and what they were. A highly sterile lab would have said nothing at all about Tory, except perhaps being tidy-minded but even the untidily-minded could make do when it came to labs. "Professional and boring?" Both the thick dark eyebrows went up a fraction and the faint smile came and lurked. "If you say so."
Kit didn't grin charmingly, but he smiled rather more than faintly at the offer of terrible coffee. "I'll have that, thank you."
