Re: Dietre A./Hugh C.: On the patio
The coffee was a surprise. Dietre had never tasted one like it, and he drank deeply despite how hot it was. Grocery shopping was confusing, he didn’t like to do it, and he was not adventurous enough to order anything but basic ‘coffee’ whenever he was out, so he really had no idea what he was missing out on. He had a lot to learn from Hugh aside from dancing, apparently.
“I’m glad. I was worried that I rolled around all night.” Dietre stepped away from Hugh so he could cook, and leaned against the counter, drinking his coffee. Already it felt like it was battling his headache, but that could just be a placebo effect. “I haven’t slept that well in a very long time.” If he hadn’t been drinking he’d probably feel amazing. He only had himself to blame.
Speaking about Heart brought his own dog to mind. Dietre immediately looked guilty. “I hope Sieglinde isn’t angry with me when I get home…” He had disappeared on her before and try you might, there was no explaining to an animal that you weren’t going to do it again. If Adrian was home it wouldn’t be a problem, but sadly his housemate was still away as far as he knew.
“...I’ll have to do something special for her to make up for it.” He frowned in thought over his coffee, trying to come up with ideas.
