Re: Dietre A./Hugh C.: On the patio
With Hugh’s arm around his waist, Dietre slid his own over the man’s shoulders for further support. As they made their way through the house, he leaned as heavily into Hugh as he could without forcing him to actually have to carry all of his weight. Held back by his reserved nature, Dietre rarely ever got physically close to the men he was interested in, so how could he not savor this for the brief while it lasted?
Once upstairs his fun was over and he let Hugh go free willingly enough. He glanced curiously about the room as he arched his back in a stretch, trying not to be too obvious about it. The high ceilings and windows gave a nice view of the moon far above. He preferred to look up at the sky rather than out past the balcony at the lake. There were so many windows in Hugh’s house that there was just no escape from the water out there! No matter where you turned it was there.
He followed Hugh to get away from the view and peered over his shoulder at the bathroom. “Umm…” He pressed his lips together in an effort to keep them from curving into an embarrassed (yet cheeky) smile, and failed. “Clothes might be a good idea.” For someone a little more bold it’d be easy to follow that with a ‘Unless you’d prefer me in a towel’ but Dietre was not that someone. At least, not tonight.
Being provided with everything he needed, Dietre took his shower. He kept the water hot and soothing, and as he lathered shampoo in his hair he was struck by finding himself surrounded by what he recognized as Hugh’s scent. His own bath products tended toward cool, clean scents with hints of mint or eucalyptus. Smelling like Hugh would be like a pleasant little vacation from himself, he didn’t mind it.
When he finished and dressed, he stepped out of the bathroom followed by a brief haze of steam. He looked refreshed and a little more clear headed, his features somehow softened by the way his hair fell across his forehead. He held his clothes folded neatly in his arms and gave Hugh an awkward smile, “Is there somewhere I should put these?”
