Re: Dante & Zee - Patio
Ah, so it was a bit of both. This didn't seem to surprise her and there was a hint of amusement as she lifted her drink to take a quick sip. "Very used to it," she assured her. With her bopping between large metropolises to small towns, rarely staying long, it wasn't uncommon to catch attention of curious neighbors. And in prior circumstances, when all on her own, she'd have been out among the populace and introducing herself to anyone that caught her eye.
Zee took note of the search for the appropriate word but didn't feel a need to pry there. Instead, she nodded her head. "Then you'll have to pass along my compliments to your friend, as well."
"Mmm?" She gave an amused grin as she watched the movement. "You are absolutely correct in that statement." Zee was used to having more friends or acquaintances around her than she did at present. Sure, she could reach out to plenty of people through her computer, but that wasn't the same. "And it's been far too long since I've had someone who I could do that with when it comes to Hugh."
Accepting her arm, she moved to walk in sync with her. She glanced at the woman out of the corner of her eye, "Of course, to move ahead with the friend making, I should know your name, too. Though, perhaps, I can make a guess." After all, she'd heard plenty about Hugh's friends in this town by now. And she'd met a handful of them by this point that the process of elimination did not feel too unlikely for failure.
