Re: LIVING ROOM (Near the fireplace): Hugh C./Rafe J.
Hugh gave a nod and a slight tip of his own glass at Rafe's response. In the aftermath of all of the things people had experienced and trying to figure out what to do with the glimpses of others lives that you'd been given getting by seemed a decent thing to hope for.
But he drew in a breath and looked around. "I like a project." This was an admission, that probably said rather a lot about him, although it was all things he knew. Truthfully, the different memories he'd seen had given him a good deal to think about including questions about his vampire neighbor, and poking at some of his own insecurities and uncertainties about his love life, or lack thereof. It seemed every spring he was going to be destined to think he had things figured out and then get enough something to shake or unsettle the very firm, and definitely unsinkable foundations he'd settled on (unsinkable, apparently in the Titanic definition of the term).
He turned back to Rafe with a smile. "Since I don't have any theatre projects at the moment, I figured this was a good distraction since it's hard to cover Repose bullshit with a therapist," this was said with a grin and a tilt to his head, and raised his own glass to his lips again to take another sip. "Maybe I'll start a party planning business in my spare time," he quipped. "We'll have to see how tonight goes. What about you? Any new projects keeping you busy?"
