Re: In-person: Damian/Burden
Unlearning, it mostly involved living somewhere too damn warm to be prudish, and his parents believed real entirely about being covered from neck to ankle. But in the Caribbean, it was real uncomfortable to be all covered in thick clothing, and Burden had learned to be comfortable in his own skin there. Just like he wasn't embarrassed about being hard against the other boy, though could be he should've been. He'd lived a plenty repressed life, but reservation didn't seem to live in his brain.
But the moment passed, despite Burden not wanting it to, and he wasn't thinking about ambitions or priesthood or nothing of the sort. He wasn't even focused on the shakes coming, though could be Damian could feel the tremor in the hand that tugged on his. But, Burden, he felt this real pressing need to get to where he was going before the world took to being darkness, and so he tugged and took longer steps.
He didn't stop until they arrived at a messy little thing of a white house, illuminated pretty by moonlight, and real obviously uninhabited. Curious, he just glanced on over at Damian, shaking fingers not letting go of the other both's hand.
