Re: [Lakeside: Hannah/Rey]
It was nice outside, and the grass and wildflowers were the type of pretty that made Hannah want to sit and stay, to not move, to lie back among petals and look up at the sky. It was a long, long time since she just lain in the grass and tried to make out the shapes in passing trees, and she considered that, and she considered finding a way to make it happen now. Maybe it would be good for Si, looking at clouds and not worrying about the things happening in her head, and she was sitting, and Rey was slipping off her shoes, and then they were both settled.
Rey scooted, and Hannah closed her eyes and tried to tell what she felt. There was a pause and there was quiet, and she listened. And she didn't know anything about The Force, but she'd always been able to sense things just beneath the surface, just where other people couldn't see. "I feel... the flowers, and the grass, and the whisper of them on the breeze, and I feel the house, back there, and it looming, and it's not whispering, but it's there. I feel... time. I feel time, like droplets, pinging all around us, but it isn't all now. Some of it has to happen, and some of it hasn't happened yet at all," she said, eyes still closed, and she had no idea if that was what Rey wanted to hear, or if she'd even understood it right.
