Hannah followed, step and step, and she knew the house well enough to know precisely where Rey was leading. There was something soothing about being in a known space, and she felt more comfortable here than if it was somewhere she didn't know. Houses were scary and often, and this one didn't roar or growl, and that was nice. So, she followed, and she sat at the table, going there when invited to and as Rey acquired water.
And she thought as she sat. She spun words around her mind and tasted them on her tongue, and she hadn't practiced, and she didn't know how to say what she meant to say. She was taking a big, big risk, and she watched the woman. It was one last try, one last moment to think it through, and one last moment to decide if she trusted Rey. And in the end, and for no really logical reason, she did.
"I like tea," she said, because she did, and because it was soothing, and because maybe it would be easier to talk while Rey bustled around.
