Re: in-person: Holly NW/Noah NW
Yeah, look, there were times when Holly thought it would be good not to have Noah privy to his thoughts, right? But those times had nothing to do with Holly, really, and everything to do with not wanting Noah to hear fucked up shit. Like, Holly's hatred of Noah's mom, for example. But, yeah, he was into the intimacy, and it would massively suck for it to be suddenly gone. Which, you know, was a far cry from him insisting on trying to find a way to break the connection just, oh, a few months back.
But Noah was over there grinning that fucking smug-prince-charming smile, and Holly shook his head fondly as the guy giggled. "Yeah, yeah, I know you love my stick." He didn't even bother pretending he didn't get the bro-dad joke. And, okay, he almost deadpanned some smartass thing when Noah echoed the safety sentiment, but he drew it back at the last moment. "It's good," he finally said, with crazy-simple nonchalance. Because admitting to feeling safe with and because of someone else? Was a lot of, like, outloud admission for Holiday.
