Re: capullo de rosa; dietre & hugh
"That makes sense," Hugh said quietly. "It feels like if most people couldn't see you, if someone could that it would make you want to, you know, talk to them or whatever they do?" He shifted, and considered the man in front of him wondering just how frequently it happened. Often wasn't all the time, but it did indicate that it wasn't exactly a rarity.
He offered a smile. "I'm glad it doesn't bother you as much now. Repose probably helps on that front. And just - I mean, obviously you're not crazy. And this is not even close to the strangest thing I've run into in Repose," he laughed with a brief huff of air, and he reached for his wine. He took a sip and put it down. "It's also possible, that I haven't even run into the strangest thing in Repose."
He paused, as plates arrived for them, took a bite and then he glanced across at Dietre's face, a bit of understanding settling there, and wondering if perhaps that had been part of the challenge with Dietre's family, and just generally. Hugh smiled at him. "What is it like?"
