Re: capullo de rosa; dietre & hugh
Hugh had always appreciated his efforts being noticed, and even awkward compliments were accepted as if they'd been delivered effortlessly and maybe even more readily because there was the suspicion lying underneath it that it might have cost more to have given.
And that playful mood? Hugh liked. He liked being around it from companions just generally speaking, but when it came to Dietre specifically, Hugh really liked seeing it from the other man. He seemed so frequently to be serious, even melancholy, and Hugh liked seeing him smile.
He glanced up at this offer, raised his eyebrows and flashed Dietre a grin. "I have heard he's quite obliging," he glanced down at the menu, but with no real interest in it for the moment because his eyes didn't even focus on the word son the page before he was glancing back up at Dietre. "And I've heard very talented. You think if I ask nicely he will? Because I'm very good at asking nicely."
It was flirting, and Hugh fell into it easily, but was interrupted by by the sommelier, and he took a pause to ask questions about the wine, before making a selection and waiting for Dietre to make his. When he turned back to Dietre, it was with one eye half on the menu as he needed to make a decision. "What would you play?"
