No. They are asking about a murder, upon a public forum, wherein identities are tied to access. This narrows the field considerably already. This is not purely a philosophical debate. Perhaps they perceive danger. Perhaps they simply do not desire to be known, so as not to have to engage in conversations in their personal life regarding why they might seek such answers. Perhaps it would inappropriate per their employment. To say, simply, kindness and compassion are favorable traits, therefore it is suspect to post anonymously is to fail to connect dots placed simply and prominently before one. It is, in short, stupid. Attempt a moment of semi-critical thought and you will grasp what it is I am saying.
