Re: Audrey/Hannah: Tea
Audrey tilted her head, even now, when Hannah needed people most she was offering advice and kindnesses to Audrey. Did she even realize it? Did she even know how beautiful her heart was even when it was this way and that. Even when her mind slipped into ghosts and thoughts that Audrey could not follow. So when she offered her comfort, when she reminded her that she could lock the door, there was only open windows when she wanted she smiled, her eyes filling a little but long lashes blinked them away.
She watched as tea was said aside and siblings were discussed. She listened and her heart was tugged on over and over again. It wasn't a good day for siblings, it wasn't even a good month, or year. It was difficult, family. Love was difficult, but love held hope, like Hannah said and it rained down like the confetti her friend spoke of. Hope did too, even if it was far away for now.
Audrey scooted in close to Hannah now and rested her head on her shoulder an arm went about her too and drew her in close. "We'll have troubles every day together, okay?" Audrey took in a deep breath, nodding. She couldn't always follow, but she was right here. She could always be right here. She could offer that. Lavender and lemon was what Audrey inhaled, citrus and flowers, encapsulating Hannah and all she was; both lively and calming. Contradiction blending perfectly together.
"I'll always be here Hannah," she nodded firmly. "As best as I can."
