Re: Audrey/Hannah: Tea
Her toes wiggled beneath her and she watched Hannah for a bit. Hannah sipping, Hannah calm, Hannah like some strange fairytale princess who never fully woke up from a curse. It was always dreamy. Audrey hadn't reached for own mug yet. She had questions and thoughts she was sure was going to spill over, so she let it cool a little, let the steam disperse a little so it would be nice and warm and waiting.
"...Hugh came, yes." She nodded. "We baked, it was nice of him and you." Her hand pressed down on the cover, leaning on it a bit looking like a mermaid waiting on a short, long hair, legs tucked.
"It was just, it felt..." Her lips puckered to one side and her nose crinkled. "It felt like there might be something wrong, and I thought maybe you had to sleep there, go away, because of it. I guess... I was wrong. I just worried about you, because, well--I care a lot about you and I feel like I get things wrong and can't help." She tucked her hair behind her ear with her free hand. "...but I guess that's what brothers are for, huh? Twins especially. They take care of those things."
Not that she knew, her siblings were more like passing acquaintances to her. It was a little envy inducing.
"Sorry, I probably shouldn't have asked that." Her eyes slowly rose back up to Hannah and her pretty features and eyes that never gave away what was going on inside.
