Instead of shoving him a third time, Iris balled her fists again and squeezed her eyes shut, breathing in around the shaking of her anger. "It wasn't enough," her growl came again, around her teeth, echoed by Ris, following upon her sound like he followed upon her heels. "He deserved worse. For touching her. For hurting her." Her voice rose in volume, not a shout but powerful, more - far more - than her usually gentle tone. There was a look in her eye like the storms he was able to call, trapped inside her by a delicate shell.
The tension hung for a moment, quivering rage that bounced between the two of them, Iris feeling it like a reflection that only increased in intensity and volume until it was too much and she let out a sob. Pained and torn from her throat, she bent forward, crouching and folding down as she spread her hands over her face and curled until she was little more than a ball balanced on her toes, digging into the ground.
