Warmth wraps all around her throughout it. The warmth of love and affection between people who are cared for. And it doesn't matter particularly that she doesn't recognize any of them. It's been a long time since she's been in Repose and she has yet to really feel as if she knows the town at all. And this time she's sitting on the edge of her bed when she comes to and the warmth fades into something a bit more cool.
She is alright alone.
This is something she's told herself over and over and over again since she's moved back to Repose. She does not need or want people in her life. If her brother were to move back she would be fine with that, of course, even if they have not been particularly close in the past few years. She suspects that's her own fault.
But then this sort of parental affection.
She stands and walks to the kitchen to make a hot chocolate.
