Re: lakeside mansion; hugh c. & dietre a.
“I like it,” Dietre replied, not needing to think about his answer. Of course he liked it. Pale eyes remained glued to the screen, and he only seemed to talk in between songs.
He watched Hugh get into his new position from the corner of his eye, half wondering how comfortable it could be to have to watch a movie with your head turned the whole time. Then again, he’d seen it before, so maybe he didn’t need to see the screen to enjoy it anymore. Dietre didn’t mind being reclined against, going so far as to adjust his arm so Hugh could fit against him a little better. He liked the solid warmth of him, though he couldn’t help but make a mental comparison to Aleksi who’s body temperature ran much hotter.
“Hmm…” Dietre hummed in faux doubt at Hugh’s assurance he had movies where men behave decently. “We’re running two for two here, though.” And Hugh going on to admit that his last two plays had terrible men wasn’t helping.
“Shall I assign you to find a movie with likeable male leads for next time?” Bold of him to assume there would be a next time, he knew, but Hugh’s reception of him so far had given him a bit of confidence.
