Re: lakeside mansion; hugh c. & dietre a.
The notion of spending more evenings like this was one that Hugh liked the idea of. Yes, granted, he liked being out, and he liked parties and clubs, and loud spaces, but he was finding of recent that he equally enjoyed staying in with the right person, and he nearly always enjoyed watching favorite films - or new ones - with a friend. Hugh smiled, nodding sort of, but then Dietre's question made him raise up in sudden surprise: "Really?"
He looked at Dietre trying to determine if he was pulling Hugh's leg, but the question seemed genuine. "It's... I mean, it's Beauty and the Beast, right, but with songs, and when I was in high school - senior year - I got to actually play the Beast, which was kinda of a fucking dream, cause I'd always loved the cartoon so much growing up. Belle is fantastically smart, and the Beast has a soft heart underneath all his gruff, and it's really just enjoyable - you've never seen it?"
Hugh's eyes brightened. "We could watch it right now if you want? The cartoon is only just over an hour - it's not as long as the live action one they did, although that one's really good too and the Beast actually gets a song in that one - he doesn't in the cartoon - which in my opinion, is a definitely detraction," he laughed. "Except it's late, and you probably need to leave, but - I don't have to be up early... so if you want to..." He trailed off.
