Re: Kit & Noah: the B&B
"Vaughn..." Noah repeated, turning his attention away slightly to fill out the intake form on the computer. "Do you wanna do a card, cash? How long are you thinking of staying? And, do you have a job? Because if you don't yet, we can figure something out so you can stay here. I know everyone was ragging about it being expensive, but a lot of the other people here are on social security and stuff, and we can work it out. It's all good." Noah looked away from the screen, back to Kit. He watched the dude peel back his sweater and he, Noah, glanced around. Maybe it was kinda hot. He was in short sleeves, but Kit's reaction to the heat was spilling over into him. "I can open a window or something?" He offered.
As for Repose, "Don't let it fool you," Noah laughed. He left his spot behind the desk to wander to the nearest window. There were no screens to keep bugs out and the windows were old as hell, so it took him a minute of futzing with metal knobs, standing between the grandeur of the drapes like a man out of time.
