Hugh half shuddered. "If you didn't have half your cast die. I think I've been on enough potentially cursed productions for one lifetime, money and fame or not," he shook his head. "But yeah, it sort of seems like if technology could catch them, there'd be more examples out there. Or at least, more visible examples?"
"You know, you didn't run off on that anon post. You stuck around. Long time before we had the opportunity to meet in person, you were interested, friendship infancy or not," he shrugged. "I think we can have deep friendships maybe when you're not there in person. I'm not always very good at it myself, mind you. I tend to sometimes forget when something or someone isn't right in front of me, but ... still."
He finished off his glass of milk and he smiled. "You know, I think, maybe, I'm a little more self-aware, and failing? Not something I have much grace for when it comes to myself. But it inevitably feels like it sometimes. Sometimes even when you do the best you can - still doesn't have the outcome you think it should. I think I'm accepting that more these days."
