Re: tandy & holly; the music store Right, but it wasn't just about Repose, at least as far as Holly could tell. The prison for powered people? Was in the Capital, and the Capital had its fair share of shit. The fact that the government was all must imprison the superpowered mofos meant it was a this world situation, right? So people from this world had grown up with this shit, or so he assumed. But his knowledge mainly came from YouTube vids and podcasts, so it wasn't precisely scientific. Anyway, it really didn't matter very much. What mattered was the state of shit now, which he was a) trying to ignore and b) trying to figure out, which was totally contradictory, but Holly was fine with totally contradictory.
So, right, he hobbled his way to the door and back to the storeroom, and, sure, he was slow. He didn't think she'd think that was weird, because knee surgery. It had been a fucking shit year, which was only balanced by the awesomeness of getting with Noah. So, balance... or something. But, yeah, the storeroom was pretty empty, since Holly had a tendency to just pile the main store and loft high.
He pulled a chair from a pile that was leftover from the party, and he straddled one, arms folded along the back. "IDK if it sucked for him, but I wasn't a fan," he said of the whole going-home thing, but he motioned to the far end of the room while he said it. "I guess it depends on if he realized he was dead or not. I didn't ask." He hadn't. "A field, huh? Interesting, now toss a knife, but that way." As in, nowhere near his face.
