Re: lakeside mansions: Dietre A. & Hugh C.
Getting dog kisses while doing yoga might not be relaxing, but it was bound to leave you in a good mood. Maybe next time he’d allow Sieglinde to sit in, for now he figured he’d have to get the hang of yoga in general first. After descending the stairs with Hugh, he nodded and went to change. He and Hugh were pretty much the same height while Dietre was definitely thinner. The pants were a bit loose, but thanks to the stretchy material and elastic waist they weren’t going to fall off. They’d certainly work for doing a bit of yoga in, no problem.
Leaving his own pants folded neatly on the bed, Dietre soon joined his host in the designated yoga room. Currently unaware that whatever magic that reanimated Liam had been undone, Dietre was able to look out the windows to the lake without the sense of unease that plagued him on his previous visits. The thought that his friend’s body was lost under the water was no longer on his mind and that did wonders to ease his nerves.
“Oh, I meant to tell you…. I suppose I wasn’t thinking straight at Audrey’s,” he confessed, feeling guilty. “I did get the job. I start very soon.” Dietre smiled a little, proud yet modest at the same time.
“The restaurant is quite nice… Extravagant, really. And the piano I’ll be using is a beauty.” He refrained from gushing about the instrument, thinking Hugh might not share his enthusiasm. “I believe the man who hired me is one of your neighbors? Caspar Andrews is his name.”
