Re: Living room: Holly & Noah
Okay, just shut up about the little ID thingy. Holly was in a good mood, and scribbling his name on something had literally been no big deal, Noah. But, yeah, the crutch being gone made a huge difference. The pain was manageable now too, and it was more than that, right? He and Noah had decided on a plan, something that felt stable and like they could maybe save up some money and find their footing? Okay, so maybe that was insanely old-man of someone Holly's age? To find massive comfort in that, but he did. He looked way far ahead, you know, as a rule. And right now? He could do that and see where he and Noah would be living, where they would both work, and how much money he could envision them hoarding each month. It wasn't crazy-bank or anything like that, but it was something, and Holly could be patient with his obsessive need for saving money.
So, right, right, he was beneath the crook of Noah's arm, and, yeah, he liked it there. Not to get sexual about this, okay? But Holly definitely wasn't a natural top, however he perceived himself. He played idly with Noah's fingers, and he rolled his eyes. "No," he deadpanned in response to Noah's comment about him, Noah, being up all night. "I'd prefer if you never got up again." He gave Noah's dopey-baked smile a squinty look, then he chuckled and looked out at the dramafest that he was sure was about to start. Whatever, because he was content and, like Noah, baked enough that even the buzzing in his ears wasn't fucking with him. And if anyone had trouble with the PDA? They could go fuck themselves.
He kissed Noah's cheek, and he draped his good leg slightly over Noah's knee. "If you string up lights like this at our place? I'll divorce you. You make more money than I do, which means you'd be paying me alimony for life." Which, you know, Holly being Holly? He stopped to consider deliberately, since he knew Noah would 'hear' it. "You know, that might not be a bad idea." Which, yeah, he didn't manage to deadpan in a believable manner at all... but he tried.
