Hannah's oddities were beyond Rey's ken, at least at this distance, and Rey had plenty of oddities of her own. "I know Ren, yes," Rey agreed, though she didn't elaborate--that story was already going around at Christmas; she wondered if Hannah had heard it--"though I'm not sure I've met your brother."
If she'd thought she could get away with it, Rey would have jumped up and joined Hannah on the roof. But even if she didn't mind Hannah seeing, there were too many others who might have noticed. Maybe she'd come round later and sit on the roof with Hannah. Rey had found more women friends in Repose than she'd ever had in her life before. It was new, and she liked it.
"But you can introduce us later," Rey completed her comment to Hannah. "I suppose you've been here a while. I just got here last fall, not long before Audrey."
