Re: Near the food: Hugh & Dietre
"Thank you," Hugh said automatically, but with the smile returning slightly for a moment. "It's been a lot of work, and I'm excited to have it out. Although that means I have to be anxious about reviews coming out and I've been trying to avoid any early ones until the weekend is over. If it's terrible," he waved a hand and then pulled in a breath. "I've got a week to get over it then. Hopefully though," crossed fingers and he looked back at Dietre. "Let me know what night, and I'll have them put one on reserve for you - a ticket I mean."
He glanced around the room, it seemed fairly calm honestly, but Hugh was trying to be understanding of other people's preferences regarding people. It was a little difficult though. He could understand being tired if it was non-stop for days and days, but most parties were only a few hours, and something like this didn't even require you to talk to people constantly, and he had to confess he did have a difficult time understanding Audrey or Dietre who seemed to just not want to be around groups of people at all. But - he didn't doubt it? It just definitely was outside of his own experience. He put a sympathetic look on his face. "Yeah, I'm sure at this point, it's been quite a bit. Hopefully you don't have plans for tomorrow?"
"The food was good?" he offered, with a grin as he raised the empty plate up. "At least what was left of it. Although I'd kind of expect nothing less from Audrey."
