Re: Upstairs, outside the open window: Hannah/Rey
People tended to not look up, and Hannah marveled at how people approached the house and only looked straight ahead. Straight ahead, down, and sometimes at whoever walked beside them, but most people didn't take in the world beyond themselves, as if they were limited to seeing things just there, just there and nowhere else at all. And so she was surprised when the woman in boots and jeans looked up and up, and she was pretty sure the hoodie wasn't a heroic costume, but Hannah tried to figure it out anyway, just in case.
"Hi, the house calls back," Hannah said with a smile, waving back and scooting a tiny bit closer to the edge of the awning, so that she could see down, down, and look at the woman better. She assumed this was one of Audrey's many friends, and she was glad so many people had come to be supportive. "The house says you're welcome to come inside," she added, catching the game and drawing it out like taffy at the beach. "Are houses supposed to offer riddles for entrance? Or is that just when you try to walk past an oracle?"
