I mean, technically I suppose I usually have a short list of staples that I'm out of or nearly out of, eggs, avocado oil, that kind of thing, but mostly I just go in and get what looks the freshest. I know about how much protein I usually eat, and about how many ounce of vegetables to go with it - so it works for me.
Obviously if I'm doing a specific recipe, then there's more list making - but usually that's for entertaining, not my weekly cook-up.
